Navigating the Experience

 

Is this a sexual practice?

Not in the way most people think. Our sessions are non-sexual and focused on somatic healing. However, the ancient Tantric philosophy we pull from, including the practice of Maithuna, views the body as a map of energy.

By learning to circulate this energy rather than "leaking" it, practitioners often find they have significantly more control and longevity in their intimate lives. We focus on the foundational nervous system work that makes that kind of mastery possible, using "Life Force" to fuel your entire life, from the bedroom to the boardroom…the same energy that drives creativity, focus, and physical health—to help you master your own internal state.  


Do I need to be "spiritual" or have experience?

No. This work is primarily a technology for the nervous system.

At its foundation, Kundalini Tantra is based on physiology and bio-energetics. You don’t need to subscribe to a specific philosophy or "believe" in anything for diaphragmatic breathing, spinal movement, and neural regulation to work. If you have a body and a breath, the mechanics will produce a result.

However, for those seeking to immerse themselves in the deeper Tantric "Coding":

While the basics provide regulation, the deeper layers of this tradition offer a more precise "operating system." If you choose to go further, we utilize precise Bija Mantras (vibrational sounds) and intentional Postures (Asanas) at exact moments in the sequence.

Think of these not as religious rituals, but as precise frequencies. 


How is this different from a standard yoga class?

Traditional yoga often focuses on external alignment and physical postures (asanas). While we use movement, our focus is internal state-shifting. We prioritize how the movement affects your energy and nervous system rather than how the pose looks in a mirror.


What does "Energy" actually feel like?

"Energy" is often just a label for heightened sensory awareness. During a session, you might experience it as:

• A pleasant tingling or "electricity" in the limbs.

• A sense of heat or warmth moving up the spine.

• A feeling of internal spaciousness or "lightness."

• Deep emotional release or sudden mental clarity.


Is it safe if I have high stress or anxiety?

Yes—in fact, that is why many people come. However, we move at the "speed of safety." We don't push the body into catharsis. Instead, we build your "nervous system container" so you can handle more vitality without feeling overwhelmed or "blown out."


What should I wear or bring?

Wear comfortable clothing that allows for full range of motion in the spine and unrestricted breathing. No special equipment is needed; just a willingness to be present with your physical sensations.
